Professional Fees - Fair Fee Policy and our flexible payment options 

H D Consultants offers a choice how to pay our Fees. The payments can be either by online bank transfer and/or by debit or credit card. Additionally, some or all of our agreed Professional Fee can be paid on application, and if partly on application the balance is then payable upon issue of a Mortgage Offer. The payment method and structure will be discussed with your Adviser, and agreed by you when signing the Professional Fee Agreement document.  
 
H D Consultants' Professional Fees can be paid to the Company using either of the following methods; 
 
1) BY CARD - BY 'PHONE - Pay the Professional Fee by debit or credit card > call H D Consultants' Office on 01206 577 266 and your card details will be taken over the telephone. All data will be input in to the secure card processing system. No details are retained or stored by us.

3) ONLINE BANKING - the Company's bank details will be listed on the Professional Fee Agreement document which our Clients receive at the point of mortgage application. Please refer to that document for the account name, sort code and bank account number. Please use the first line of the address (and post code) of the property to be mortgaged as the reference for that payment. If you don't have your Fee Agreement document to hand, call our office on 01206 577 266 and we'll provide you with the details over the 'phone. We can also send to you a copy of your signed Agreement, too. 
The H D Consultants Fair Fee Policy 
 
Our Professional Fee structure is as per the TOB documents which are available via the Library link
 
In summary, we don't have a fixed fee basis as our pricing is based on the work that we are required to do on a case by case basis. 
 
Our TOB document states the charging parameters, and that we can charge up to 2% of the loan amount, although a typical Fee is approximately £500.00. The Fee could be more or less than this and that depends on the work involved. We will always confirm the Fee to you before you apply for a mortgage and in particular please see stage 'c', as follows... 
 
Please note;  
 
We don't charge anything until we;  
 
a) have carried out a full Fact Find research discussion,  
b) then carried out our market research to find solutions for your requirements,  
c) then presented to you, in 'black and white', the options for which you are eligible,  
and finally, d) the Professional Fee is then payable upon application to the mortgage provider.  
 
We don't charge for our insurance advice.  
 
If, at stage c, you then determine that you do not wish to proceed with our formal recommendation, so we close the file, and no fee is charged at all. If however, just like the vast majority of our Clients, you are happy to proceed with our detailed quotes and options, you are doing so on an informed basis taking into consideration lenders arrangement fees, valuation fees, administration fees, solicitors fees and our own Professional Fee, etc., too.
